Philippines indigenous music instruments

Philippines is a country with a rich culture. Because Philippine ancestors is also known to be a music lovers. And they used this music's to express themselves and they used native musical instruments on it. They use this music's for courtship, marraige, harvest and even offerings.

 

There are three groups of indigenous instruments. 

Indigenous strings

Indigenous percussions

Indigenous wind instruments

 

Let me start with indigenous strings

 

Indigenous strings are the instruments that are played by plucking

 

 

Indigenous percussion instruments

 

This Instruments are being played by striking or hitting it.

 

 

Indigenous wind instruments

 

This Instruments are played by blowing

 

This Instruments were made generally by the Philippine ancestors. 

The natives had used this instruments in various rituals, occasions, and their daily lives.

This also show how the Philippine ancestors also loved music and by this they showcase their creativity and their passion for music in an artistic way. 

they made the Philippine music culture more colorful and unforgettable.
